Name: Midnight.
Gender: Female.
Short Story:
As my footsteps echo around the streets, the moon casts eerie shadows across the
road. Not a single soul is around, everyone asleep or out of town for the weekend festivities. I need a new place to sleep for the night, one that's dry, warm, and not as uncomfortable as the last. "Meww!" I hear a tiny cry from
behind a box. I look behind the box and see the most adorable kitten; her pelt the colour of a midnight sky, with a small moon on her side. Sad eyes meet mine, I look around for her owner, but of course there's no one. I kneel down and she slinks over to me. I place one hand on her back, and when she doesn't run I pick her up. "You must be a stray like me" I say. As she begins to purr. "You can
come with me so neither of us will be alone again" she looks up and mews in agreement. "I think you need a name" I say. I think for a moment before deciding. "Come on Midnight lets find a place to rest"
